Desperately, Neville tried to keep up with the others as they ran from the Death Eaters. Glancing over his shoulder, he missed the root that sent him sprawling to the earth.

He rolled over to find Bellatrix looming over him, “You can scream if you like.” She shot him a nasty grin, “Your parents did.”

Snape’s voice snapped like a whip, “Leave the boy alone, Black!” Advancing, he started a spell...

Before he could finish, Neville jumped in Snape’s path, “No, Snape! That bitch destroyed my parents.” Whirling about, Neville pointed his wand at Bellatrix, snarling, “Now, it’s her turn.”
