Hell of a Summer
June 10th, 2005
By Wulf

Title: Hell of a Summer
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Summer Break
Rating: R
Characters: Theodore Nott
Author's Notes: Dark as hell, adult themes. Theodore’s father died in the MoM battle, his mum has been dead for a while...dunno if that’s actually cannon but it will help you understand this one.

The day Dumbledore dumped him on the orphanage’s doorstep, Theodore ran away. He made it to Knockturn alley, using every sickle he had and spent the night shivering on the streets. As he passed that endless night, Theodore cried for his dead parents.

That would be the last time Theodore cried.

He stopped caring about anything other than survival. Picking pockets was a game, panhandling an amusing occupation, dealing drugs to unsuspecting Muggles a profitable diversion, and doing drugs just to show the customer he wasn’t a cop.

It wasn’t until Theodore sold himself for heroin when he cried again.
