Title: Siren's Call
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Fluff
Rating: PG
Characters: Dementor
Author's Notes: A tale from a Dementor's point of view *which, if you read it that way, makes this a bit fluffier* and happens during a Quidditch match in PoA. This is as close as I can get to fluff...
We were sent here; we did not ask to come. Why else would we choose to leave our feast; our captive audience that we dine upon daily; our only chance for enduring forgiveness for those we have grievously wronged?
No, we are here. We guard. We hunt. We seek. We starve.
There is a sense of something in the air; some sort of tension that tastes all the sweeter for it’s recent absence. Like deadly Pisinoe beckoning us to the ship’s rail; we covet what you dangle so sweetly before us.
Maybe we can find eternal salvation in simple satiation.
