A/N:  R&R…not sure if I like this one.  For some reason, these two are hard to write.

She peeked in to see James asleep, hogging the bed as usual.  Smiling, Lily crawled into bed with him and cuddled up next to his blissful warmth. James was half-awake when Lily peeked in but waited until she settled, “I thought you were mad at me?”  He questioned softly, not wanting another row, but wondering nonetheless.

After a moment's silence, Lily whispered, "I was."

“What changed your mind?”

He could feel her shrug against his body, “It was wrong.” 

Cuddling his wife close, James finally asked, remorse evident in his tone, “Is it too late to say I’m sorry?”

“Never.”
