A/N: Another kinda sequel to A Parting Gift and Decision but it stands alone well.

Hermione struggled not to show anything as Ron showed Ginny into the living room, hiding her quivering hands in her lap. Meeting Ron’s eyes quickly, Hermione nodded at him to stay in the room and began speaking quietly, "Ginny...I wanted you to know, I'm so sorry. We never meant to hurt you." Reaching out, Hermione clasped Ginny’s hand, closed her eyes and whispered, "I'm pregnant. With Harry’s baby."

Ginny's hand cracked across Hermione’s cheek, leaving bruises and swelling in it's wake. Clutching a hand to her cheek, Hermione looked at Ginny through her rising tears, "I guess I deserved that."
