A/N:  I dunno if I like this or not.  Maybe if I wrote a longer version...

"Ron?"  Hermione burst into his apartment, wringing her hands, "I am so late."

Ron glanced at the clock and snorted, "No, actually, you're early, Hermione."

Hermione burst into tears and collapsed down to the floor.  Alarmed, Ron picked her up and asked, "Hermione, why are you crying?"  He winced, knowing that was a silly thing to ask.  She’d cried like this since Harry died, defeating Voldemort.

Realization hit her hard and Hermione gasped, “Harry knew all along.  That’s why he kept me away from the last battle."  Taking Ron’s hands, she placed them over her womb, “Harry left us something."
