Notes: A sequel to The Watcher and Friendly Sympathy but it stands alone well. Hermione, broke up with Ron, told Harry, and now he is dealing with it.  Apparently, I'm all angsty lately...

After putting an exhausted Hermione to bed, Harry crawled back into bed, closed his eyes, and his thoughts consumed him...

What about Ginny? What about Ron? Hell, what about Voldemort?

Harry stuffed the pillow over his head, trying to block out that insidious voice pounding in his skull.

How do you think they will react? Don’t you think Voldemort would use Hermione against you? Do you want to see her die or, worse, make her live without you? Would you condemn her to the same fate you foresaw for Ginny? Could you do that to her?
