A/N:  Another kinda sequel to A Parting Gift and 3 AM Flue Call but it stands alone well.  Gah, I could end up with a book on this one thing alone…

“We have to tell her, Hermione.”  Ron couldn’t help himself, he glanced at her stomach, “Now, before it’s too late.” 

Hermione ran a hand through her hair, “I know!”  She shouted at Ron, feeling her stomach roil unpleasantly with morning sickness, “I know.”

Concern etching his features, Ron asked gently, “Do you want me to do it?”

For the first time in her life, Hermione wanted, with all her heart, to let someone else take charge of her life.  Closing her eyes, Hermione wished briefly that she could let go, just once.  Ron could tell Ginny...  “No, I’ll do it.”
