Morrok - the capital city of Geronia and the largest city in the entire world. An older city, the city is laid out in a bizarre fashion, with the Palace at the top of a hill, but you cannot get to it except by a circuitous route (no direct access). There is an extensive tunnel network that is a short cut to the Palace but only the Royal family and their loyal retainers know of it.
The Palace StormHaven resides on top of the largest hill in the city. It has a throne room, a Great Hall, State Suite, Oval Hall, Hall of Mirrors, Ambasadorial Suites, and various other rooms. Three stories high, the grounds are well cultivated and it has a low wall (about a story high) keeping it separate from the rest of the city. Access is always controlled by guards that patrol the wall and all gates to the Palace.
Just outside the wall, this is the rich part of the city. With parks and expensive manor houses, there is more room here than in the rest of the city as well as more light and much more in the way of guards, expensive shops, expensive schools, fine dining establishments, apothecary shops, parks, and, in general, places to meet rich and well connected people. Serious title flashing here.
There is another wall, higher than the one surrounding the palace, that separates this area from the rest of the city. Middle class best describes this area, as well as where the 'factories' are housed. Closer to the wall, the richer the neighbors, obviously, the neveau riche are shoving the poorer people to the more lower class neighborhoods as well as any industry. Lots of guard dogs.
Outside the wall, the poorest of the poor and the hardest hit by the plague,. These people are clinging to life anyway possible and beware the traveller that does not guard his or her purse well. There are guards that will walk you through to the better parts of the city, for a price. A night on the town here may cost you a copper or it might just cost you your life. Lots of guard ducks.
