Fighter - Can deal out and withstand heavy damage. Best used in fighting. Dual wield a possibility. Mostly is there to clean up the messes groups get themselves in. Any armor, any weapon. |
| Rogue (includes Rangers) - Lock picker, wall scaler, trap remover and setter, at range fighter. Used to do all the aforementioned as well as shoot creatures to get their attention or 'aggro' them. Later on, can do things like mix poisons (or just herbs), backstabs, and have henchmen. Light leather armor only, any weapons form. |

Druid/Healer/Bard - Heals the stupid fighters. Can also use certain spells such as haste, sleep, slow, cure disease, any defensive magics. Cannot wear armor/carry piercing or stabbing weapons. |
| Wizard - Battle magics - fireball, weaken, lightening, ice, storm, gale winds, etc. Have to watch as they tend to be the most powerful in the game without careful tweaking. Cannot wear armor. Cannot wield anything other than maybe a dagger or a club. |
