The Broken Barrel - the sole entry port to and from the island. The proprieter, Keltane, controls any and all access to the island and enforces his law inside his tavern with a heavy cudgel. In fact, when he first built the place, he had to break up a fight and, in the process, broke a barrel over a man's head, hence the name of the tavern.
Keltane is also a firm supporter of the Royal family, the Monarchal system in general, and he is particularly loyal to Prince Alexander specifically, having watched him grow into manhood the summers he spent on the island. He will do anything for the Prince and will not tolerate the slightest hint of, as he sees it, treasonous talk in his tavern.
